2022 Hawaiian Naval Flag Ornament
The Hawaiian Navy flag was designed by Isobel Strong. It has eight alternating horizontal stripes of white, red, and blue; the British Union Jack in the canton; and a Hawaiian crown surmounting a yellow shield on a white background. The shield contains a white pūlo`ulo`u (kapu stick) crossed by two red kāhili (feather staffs),
one representing King Kalākaua and the other Princess Lili`uokalani.
This ornament is an exclusive ʻIolani Palace design.
