
The Royal Order of The Crown of Hawaiʻi was established in 1882 by King Kalākaua to commemorate the day of his coronation. It features a crown and the words Hawaii Ke Kalaunu (Crown of Hawaii). Notable recipients include Princess Liliʻuokalani, Prince Charles III of Monaco and Henry Carter, Hawaiian Minister to the United States.
